Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER AGGELOPOULOS 1926 - 2003 It is with deep sadness and heartache that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Aggelopoulos, at the age of 76 at Grace General Hospital on April 12, 2003. Peter will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving wife Georgia; and his three children, George, Gus (Jill), and Patty (Lance) along with his grandchildren, Joseph, Peter, and Andrew. He also leaves to mourn his brother Terry (Janet) Aggelopoulos, sister Ourania (Angelo) Corantzopoulos, brother-in-law Nick (Helen) Boutroucas, and sister-in-law Manto (Steve) Caldis of Winnipeg; as well as his three sisters, Penelope, Antigone (Aristidi), and Anna (Meleti) of Greece. Peter will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Peter was born in Pikerni (Tripoli), Greece in 1926, and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1964 with his wife and two sons. Peter was a very dedicated and hard-working man who committed his life to his family. Peter worked for many years at Perths and retired from Eatons in 1991. He was an active member of his church and of the Greek community. Peter was a very loving, caring and generous man, and will be remembered for his great sense of humour and his smile. He loved to hunt, garden and work in his yard. He especially loved his three grandsons; they were his pride and joy. Peter was blessed with good health right until the end, and all his family and many friends will never forget him. Prayers services will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m., also at the church, with Fr. Dimitrios Gianniou officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers, Paul Stamatis, Bob Broumas, Nick Lebetzis, John Manoussos, Dino Chouzouris, Dave Golas.
