Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY HARSANY Peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2003 Mary passed away into the arms of her loving Lord. She was predeceased by her husband Michael and son-in-law Paul Sarhan. Mary was born on November 19, 1912 in Kaplna, Slovakia. In 1938 Mary and Michael came to Canada with their two children, Anne and Emil, settling in Ste. Anne, MB, on a farm. They lived there until 1944. They later bought a farm in Rosewood, MB. Mary and Michael were one of the founders of St. Michaels Parish, in Arondale, MB. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Anne; sons, Emil, Mike and Rudy; four grand-children; four great-grandchildren and one brother Rudolph in Slovakia. Mary was very active on the family farm, she also loved gardening and will be remembered for her caring soul. The family would like to thank the staff at Misericordia Place for their loving care on Apple Tree Lane. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Marys memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba Division, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3G 1S6.
