Shirley is survived by her daughter Linda Savelli, Lindas husband Dan and grandchildren, Vanessa and James Savelli of Oakville; nieces, Meridel Sipos of Calgary, Hilary Bender of Brandon; and nephews, Stuart Tutt of Edmonton and Burton Boryen of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents C.S.A. and Daisy Rogers of Dauphin; husband Dr. James W. Henderson of Sudbury; sister Marguerite (Peggy) Tutt of Winnipeg; and son William of Oakville. James and Shirley lived shortly in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Indianapolis, IN, and spent 20 years in Sudbury, ON. Shirley moved to Oakville after James death. She has been actively involved in Oakville since 1982. A service to celebrate the life of Shirley will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, at St. Judes Anglican Church, 160 Williams St., Oakville. In lieu of flowers donations to the Oakville Branch of the Salvation Army, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Shirley was loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
