EDWARD PETIT On Saturday, April 12, 2003 Edward Petit of Lorette, MB passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 66 years. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Jeanne and Prosper. Edward leaves to mourn his loving children, Marc, (Nicole), Gerald, Lynne (Terry) Tanner, Lise (Alec) Leflour, and their mother Louise. Also left to mourn is one grandchild Mark. He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Victor (Wendy), Louise (Lucien) Brule, Cecile (Ronald) Vandekerkhove, Marie-Rose (Russell) Sych, Marie-Reine Trudeau, Paul (Theresa) and Rita, also numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was born and raised on the family farm in Winnipeg MB. He married Louise and moved to Lorette, MB where they raised four children. Edward started his own excavating company over 25 years ago. He worked very hard building his business and it was something he enjoyed very much. Edward had many hobbies and pass-times that he loved; restoring his classic cars, dancing, visiting family and going for coffee with friends. Edward will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will always be in our hearts. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of the Resurrection in the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lorette, MB with Fr. Maurice Jeanneau presiding. Interment will follow in the Lorette Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Edwards memory to Youth Ministry, Paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, Box 40, Lorette, MB R0A 0Y0.
