Auntie Nan was a very special person in the lives of her nieces and nephews. At a tender age, Drew Murray fondly named her GrandNan and this she was known as to all the Lothian and Murray grandnephews. Norma was predeceased by her husband and life long love, Lew in 1997, and also her younger sisters Peggy Tod and Wilma Henderson. Norma was born in Pipestone, MB but lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Lew and Norma settled in Fort Garry and raised their family. Norma was very active in the Fort Garry United Church.
