RAYMOND WILLIAM (BILL) McGREEVY Raymond William (Bill) McGreevy died peacefully at St. Boniface General Hospital on Sunday, April 13, 2003. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Catherine McGreevy and his grandson James McGreevy. He leaves behind his beloved wife Laurette Chabbert; his children, Christy (Bob) Preston and Todd (Cathy) McGreevy; his grandchildren, Erin and Ian Preston; one brother Jack (Dorothy) and one sister Yvonne (Rick) Wiley; his brother-in-law Emile (Clemence) Chabbert, Louis (Colombe) Chabbert and his sister-in-law Alice (Jean) Maton. For many years, Bill worked for International Harvester. The last 12 years of his working life were spent taking care of the Winakwa Community Centre, which he thoroughly enjoyed and was a very dedicated and conscientious worker. His retirement years were spent doing the things he enjoyed the most, golfing, curling, bowling, gardening, and especially woodworking, for which he was especially gifted. Bill was a loving, gentle, and patient husband and father who thoroughly enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. Bill we love you and your memory will live in our hearts! Forever! A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Our sincere thanks to the St. Boniface General Hospital and the staff for their compassionate care.
