LILIAN (TILLIE) CHASKE Peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre, our dear mother, Lilian Tillie Chaske passed away at the age of 79 years. Lilian was born at Sioux Valley on February 4, 1924, spending most of her life there. Since 1975 she moved to Winnipeg and had resided here until the time of her passing. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory five daughters, Maxine, Lillian, Leona, Kimberley and Claudette; two sons, Colin and David; two sisters, Georgina and Lorraine; three brothers, Leroy, Jackie and Philip; and 22 grandchildren. There are numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 17 at 8:30 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg with wake to follow. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sioux Valley Band Hall at Sioux Valley, MB. Viewing will be held from 12:00 noon to service time.
