ROMA DeGAGNE (nee LAFRENIERE) 1923 - 2003 Roma DeGagne, of Calgary, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2003. Roma was born in Willowbunch, SK, the second of 10 children. The family moved to St. Boniface, MB during the Depression. She never forgot the lessons learned from the poverty of her childhood: thrift, hard work and courage. Roma took great joy in sharing whatever good fortune she earned with her family, which was the most important thing in her life. She was predeceased by a daughter Danielle in 1966, and her beloved husband and best friend Joseph in 2000.
