ANNA BERTHA CASPER (nee WEISS) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, peacefully journeyed to God on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at the Emerson Personal Care Home. Anna, strong in her faith and family ties, was predeceased by her husband Art, her brother Bill and her sisters, Edna, Florence, Leona, Thelma, and Mabel. Her large close family has always been a blessing for her. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her son Ernie and wife Sandra; grandsons, Kevin and Curtis; brothers, Walter (Ruth), Tom (Cathy) and Clarence (Betty) sisters, Ruth (Art) and Elsie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Lilly Schultz and Anne Weiss. Being a farmers wife for many years, Anna knew the meaning of hard work and long days. She loved music and played piano, and sang in the church choir and at many weddings over the years. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to do so in her later life. We would like to thank the staff at the Emerson Personal Care Home for the wonderful care and compassion that they showed our mother. Also all her friends, neighbours, and family who took the time to visit Mom and brighten her day. For many years you sang with the Choir, Mom. Now you can sing with the Angels. Funeral services will be held at the Friedensthal Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
