Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVE KUCHAR Steve Kuchar, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at La Verendrye Health Centre, Fort Frances, ON. He was born in McMunn, MB on December 25, 1916 to the late Andrew and Anna Kuchar. In 1938 he married Millie (Emelia) Kulczycki who predeceased him in 1984. For many years he logged, farmed and custom thrashed. Later he was employed by the City of Winnipeg (formerly the Greater Winnipeg Water District) on the railroad, retiring in 1977 as Railway Foreman. He is survived by his daughter Mabel (Lenard) McCormick of Devlin, ON; his son Michael (Paula) Kuchar of Fort Frances, ON; his daughter-in-law Lillian Kuchar of McMunn, MB; one granddaughter Carol of Winnipeg; four grandsons, Darren Kuchar of McMunn, Kenneth (Randi) McCormick of Devlin, ON, Andrew (Jackie) McCormick of London, ON, Edward (Nicole Hughes) McCormick; and one great-grandson Derek Kuchar. He was predeceased by one son Peter Kuchar in 2002 and his brother John Kuchar. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 2:00 p.m. in Ukrainian Catholic Holy Ascension Church in Hadashville, MB with Rev. Fr. Ivan Demkiv officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Riverside Cemetery in Prawda, MB. Pallbearers will be Ken McCormick, Andy McCormick, Ed McCormick, Darren Kuchar, Wayne Kulczycki and Greg Stefanyshyn.
