JULIETTE PERREAULT (nee WERY) Peacefully on April 17, 2003 at Deer Lodge Centre, Juliette left this world to join her husband, Celestin and other family members gone before. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jocelyn Tetreault and husband Marc, their children, Alison and Reed, her daughter Patricia Gallagher and her daughter Jamie, as well as many friends and relatives. Juliette was born in Somerset and moved to Winnipeg to work in her familys grocery store on Clarence Avenue in Fort Garry. There she met Celestin Eugene. They married in 1949 and resided in Fort Garry. After her husbands passing at a young age, Juliette continued to raise her young family. Being a very independent woman, she enjoyed working in her garden at her home on Howard Avenue where she was never afraid to take on tasks of painting, changing storm windows, and shovelling snow. For the past 11 years Juliette lived at Adamar apartments. She was a member of the Fort Garry Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Belgium Club. Juliettes passion was her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was to have her family around her, cooking, baking and sharing precious moments during the many holiday festivities. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Morand officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Fort Garry Cemetery. TO THOSE I LOVED AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do, You musnt tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now its time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust, Its only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I wont be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come, Though you cant see me or touch me, Ill be near. And if you listen with your heart, youll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then when you must come this way alone. Ill greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home". - Author Unknown The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 233-4949 or toll free at 1-888-233-4949.
