DENISE MARIE FINDLAY (MARKLINGER) (FLETT) Suddenly on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at age 38, Denise passed away quietly at home. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving son Nathan Flett, her adoptive mother Maureen Knox (Findlay) and family as well as many members of the Houle and Yellowquill families. She was predeceased by her adoptive father Bryant Findlay, her husband Ralph Flett, infant daughter Sonya Flett and her birth parents. Cremation has taken place. According to Denises wishes, a celebration of her life will take place at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, at Young United Church, 222 Furby St., officiated by Rev. Bob Gilbert of the West Broadway Community Ministry. There will be an opportunity for family and friends to gather together following the service. Internment at Brookside Cemetery will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Denises name to West Broadway Community Ministry at 222 Furby St. The people of West Broadway and the activities of the ministry were the central focus of Denises life for many years and she would be honoured to see your gifts help their work continue.
