Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN CHARLES ADDISON John Addison died as a result of a trucking accident on April 18, 2003. John was predeceased by his mother Eileen, and his aunt Thelma. John will be sadly missed by his father Charles; his children, Chris (Vickie), Ryan (and their mother Joanne), Jasmine, Coral and Devin (and their mother Cindy) his sister Cathy and her children, Heather and Jordan. John was born May 8, 1953 in Rivercrest, MB. He later moved to Fort Richmond, where he attended Fort Richmond Collegiate. He went on to graduate from the Banff School of Fine Arts. He then owned and operated the J.J.J. Portrait Studio in Winnipeg. During this period, John became a devotee of skydiving at various drop zones, including Pembina, ND, Gimli, MB and Clarsholm, AB. He then established and operated the Skyscape Parachute School in Morden, MB. John was a pilot, a nationally recognized skydiving coach, instructor and competitor. Johns last years were spent as a professional truck driver. John will be missed by his very wide circle of friends. John was a devoted and caring dad, who shared his passion for skiing and snowboarding with his children. A celebration of Johns life will take place on Friday, April 25, at 3:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home.
