She was predeceased by her devoted husbands, Arthur Griffith (1949) and Alex Patterson (2001) her son Arthur John Griffith (2001) and her brothers, Steve and Walter Hrysio. Pauline was foremost a selfless mother and friend who brought comfort, compassion and joy to the lives of everyone she met. Her homes in Winnipeg and Lac du Bonnet were welcoming havens for all who came. To know her was to love her. Her lust for life, her generosity, and her warmth inspired us all. In spite of much adversity, she was a survivor with great grace and dignity. She had a varied and interesting life with many jobs and extensive travel. A beautiful, merry and clever lady, she charmed everyone who met her with her cooking, tea-cup reading, storytelling, hospitality and salesmanship. She was an Avon-lady extraordinaire well into her 80s. The family wishes to thank her many dedicated caregivers, both at ArlingtonHaus and Poseidon Care Centre. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O.
