Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGOLDIE CHANER (nee WEINBERG) Goldie Chaner, a life long resident of Winnipeg, died on April 20, 2003, at the age of 87 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Jake Coretsky and Ruby Chaner. Goldie was an independent, unassuming and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Nashe Patent. Mourning her passing are her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Nancy Corey; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Leah and Milton Yudell and Gertie and Belmont Kershenbaum; her granddaughters, Leslie Corey and Janis Corey and fiance Yoel Berznoger; and nieces and nephews, Arnold and Wendy and Ali and Erin Yudell, Jay and Marion Kershenbaum and Ellen Kershenbaum. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 22 with Rabbi Balser officiating. The pallbearers were Conrad Crust, Jack Fishman, Jack Hurtig, Meir Kryger and Arnold and Ali Yudell. Donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
