We will remember Mom and Grandma for her compassion, kindness, unselfishness, love for her family, her crazy sense of humour and special way of pronouncing words and her unique way of manipulating the English language. Special thanks to the staff on Unit 3E at Seven Oaks Hospital and Unit 4E at Deer Lodge Centre for their compassionate care during her lengthy illness. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
