LOUIS ALARIE Suddenly on Monday, April 21, 2003 Louis Alarie passed away at the age of 35 years. Louis was born on August 1, 1967 spending most of his life in Winnipeg. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory grandmother Lea Alarie; father John Sanders; daughter Randi; friend Rita; special friends, Audrey and Emile; brothers and sisters. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Louis was a highly valued member of Neechi Foods Co-op, a community enterprise owned and operated by its workers. He first joined the co-op in 1991. He worked to build the business with passion and enthusiasm. He was an exceptionally talented butcher. Well known for his warm and friendly personality, Louis will be greatly missed by his friends and coworkers. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, with viewing prior to the service.
