MABEL "MAE" RUTH BUCHAM (nee GILLIS) On April 19, 2003, Mae Bucham passed away in her sleep at the age of 88 years. Mae was a strong willed and spirited person with a wonderful sense of humour and a great love of sports and music. She was devoted to her family and friends and we will all miss her greatly. She leaves us with many wonderful memories especially of Pigeon Lake and Kelowna summers. Mae is survived by her daughter Sheri Game (Ron Maxwell) grandsons, Alex (Kristen) and Owen; sister Donnie Cross of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Norma Gillis of Saskatoon and Nell Gillis of Winnipeg, as well as nieces and nephews, Susan, Jamie, Lori, Donna, Larry, Daniel, Kathy, Jackie and Donald and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Barrie; parents, Hilda and Joseph; sister Trudy; brothers, Syd (Joan), Bernie (Helen), Danny, Bus; brother-in-law Arthur. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the staff of The Waterford, Dr. Bryn Whittaker and the staff of 4E Misericordia Hospital for their kindness and care. A memorial service will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB on Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Glenn Ball officiating. Cremation has taken place.
