FRANCES JOHANNA LANGENFELD (nee PLISCHKE) Peacefully, with her family at her side, Frances passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 84 years. Frances was born in Winnipeg on November 8, 1918. She grew up with and married Matthew on February 14, 1942. She mourned his passing in 2001. Frances worked as a bookkeeper for Kelly-Roberts (Griffith Laboratories) and retired in 1978. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchild as well as her knitting and love of reading. She also looked forward to attending St. Josephs Golden Age Club every week. Frances will be sadly missed by her daughter Loretta (Bob) grandchildren, Rhonda (Terry), Jeff, and Kristie; great-granddaughter Ashley; sister Reggie of Ottawa; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Ross, Dr. T. Panaskevich, all the staff of 5U5 and 4U12 at Seven Oaks Hospital for their exceptional care and concern during her stay. They are all very special people. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Terance P.
