JOAN ADELINE ROGERS (MANDZIK) 1942 - 2003 After a lengthy illness Joan peacefully passed away on the evening of April 14, 2003. For many years she enjoyed her work at Investors Group where she made numerous friends. Joan was a gifted homemaker with a passion for her family. A skilled cook, she excelled at preparing pizza and perogies, and all other manner of delicious treats. One of her favourite pastimes was going to her cottage at Hillside Beach, where she enjoyed walking the tree lined roads to the beach for a sunset. She took great comfort in the beauty of nature, and well being of animals including her cat Caneda. Thanks to CancerCare Manitoba, whose staff were not only professional but also courteous, caring and compassionate. Also, thanks to Dr. A. Maksymiuk, the nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre and Loving Care for their gracious assistance. Joan was a unique and kind person who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
