PETER JACOB (PJC) WIEBE October 26, 1915 - April 20, 2003 Easter Sunday morning, Peter Jacob (PJC) Wiebe, aged 87, slipped away peacefully at Boundary Trails Health Centre. Peter Wiebe born to John G. and Katharina Wiebe on October 26, 1915 in Winkler, MB. August 2, 1942 Peter was baptized and joined the Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church where he remained a faithful member. Peter married Connie Neufeld September 12, 1942. Peter Wiebe was predeceased by three brothers, John S. (1946) Henry (1928) and George E. (1995) two sisters, Katie Wiebe (1996) and Lizzie Hildebrand (1991) his wife Connie, (March 23,1983) and one granddaughter Christie Lynn Wiebe (April 23, 1987). Peter Wiebe is survived by his four children: Judy Wiebe of New Westminster, BC, Eugene and Pat Wiebe of Winkler, Rab and Sue Wiebe of Winkler, Nancy Wiebe of Morden; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Wiens and Hilda Hildebrand; and one brother Bill Wiebe. Funeral was held Friday, April 25, 2003 at the Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church, with Rev. Ted Goossen officiating. Interment at the Winkler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted at Boundary Trails Health Centre - Rehab Access Activities Programs and / or Winkler Seniors Centre - Kitchen Fund. The Family extends a thank-you to Dr. Allen, nurses and staff and volunteers at Boundary Trails Health Centre for their care and attention. A special thanks to all the Homecare Staff at Lions Manor.
