DOROTHY (DOT) JARMAN JENKINSON (nee BLAIR) Peacefully on April 28,2003 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Dot passed away in her 82nd year. Dot was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Ken, in December of 1992. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jacquie (Allan), Gordie (Louise), Bev (Larry), Ken (Susan), and Lorne (Gwyneth) her 10 grand-children, Michael, Kristy, Bryan, Paula, Alana, Gordie, Kyra Jane, Stephanie, Stacey and Regan; her eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Noelle, Brittany, Trenton, Jacob, Mahlia, Austin and Hailey. Dot also leaves her in-laws, David, Martina (Colin), Olive, Odette and Margaret; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dot worked the midnight shift for 25 years at the Selkirk General Hospital. She was a member of the Over 60 Club at the Royal Canadian Legion. Dot was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed and always had a smile for everyone. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. The family would like to thank the staff at Betel Home for their excellent care of Mom during her stay there. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dots memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
