Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERRY KOCHANOWSKI Suddenly on Friday, April 25, 2003, Terry Kochanowski passed away at her home in Winnipeg at the age of 42 years. Terry was born in Russell, MB on April 27, 1960, the second child of six children. Terry was predeceased by her father Steve in 1985. Terry went to school in Inglis and Russell and graduated from Red River Community College in 1982 as a Registered Nurse. Her career in nursing started at Deer Lodge Centre then to Victoria General Hospital following to Seven Oaks and recently was working at Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department. Throughout her career Terry was a teacher at heart. She was a mentor at work and in her personal life. She carried her heart on her sleeve. Never to be found at home as she was either picking up an extra shift, renovating someones house, helping someone, whether they wanted it or not. Terry adored her nieces and nephews and was actively involved in their lives. Terry lived doing for other people. When at the farm she was constantly on the go, willing to help out no matter what the task from cooking homemade noodles for an army to driving the hopper box in the open wind. Left to mourn her passing are her mother Mildred; brothers, Gary (Cindy), Randy (Jennifer), Ron (Kerry) sisters, Brenda (Marvin) and Stacey; along with 12 nieces and nephews; Tristan, Melissa, Tony, Chelsea, Brittany, Michael, Dale, Michelle, Sarah, Steven, Kaitlyn and David. Terry had her city family who are very numerous. Terry will be sadly missed by her best friend Lillian (Russ) and their children, Tara, Jarrett and Kendell and Gord (Brittany) and the extended family. A celebration of Terrys life will be held on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. from Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg. A second celebration will be held at Shellmouth Community Hall on Thursday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Shellmouth Cemetery.
