ELAINE JEAN COOK (nee HILTON) 1919 - 2003 Passed away at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre on April 27, 2003. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Bob; sons, Wayne Cook and his wife Carolyn Bosley of Toronto, Brian Cook and his wife Gerry of Winnipeg; daughter Carol Lazenby and her husband Malcolm of Saskatoon; daughter-in-law Georgine Cook of Winnipeg, wife of the late James Cook; grandchildren, Alix Cook of Toronto, Jeff Cook and his wife Rochelle of Winnipeg, Jodi Robillard and her husband Steve of Winnipeg, Kevin Lazenby of Toronto, Jennifer Lazenby of Saskatoon, Sheryl Lazenby of Calgary, James Cook and his wife Sarah of Toronto, Nancy Parker and her husband Matthew of Winnipeg; and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Kaitlyn Parker. Besides her son James, Elaine is also predeceased by her sister Audrey Gifford; and brother Roy Hilton. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow the service.
