Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEX MARKS It is with sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Thomas Marks on April 28, 2003 at Victoria General Hospital. Alex was born on December 18, 1924 in Winnipeg, MB where he lived all his life. Alex served in the Queens own Cameron Highlanders of Canada during the Second World War, 1942 to 1946. He worked at Canada Post for 32 years. Alex was an active member of Fort Garry Legion Branch No. 90. He served as President, Sargent of Arms and on many of the committees. He was granted a life membership in 1987. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Marion-Betty Marks; and daughter Carol (Chris) granddaughter Madeleine of Vancouver. He is survived by his sister Sheila of Delta, BC; and her two sons, Rick and David. He will also be remembered by step-children Penny (Wayne), Randy, Debby (Gary), Cindy (Terry), Richard (Lee-Anne), Candace and nine step-grandchildren. Alex was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Thomas and brother Bill. A memorial service will take place on Friday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fort Garry Legion No. 90, 1125 Pembina Hwy. A private interment will take place.
