WILLIAM (BILL) SEIFRIET 1909 - 2003 Peacefully on April 28, 2003 with his family by his side, William Seifriet passed away at the age of 93. Bill was born near Waldersee, MB on September 22, 1909. He married Hilde Hacker on May 17, 1931. He farmed and did carpentry in the Waldersee area until moving his family to Winnipeg in 1952. Bill leaves a legacy of many homes and barns that he built by hand in the Waldersee, Glenella and Plumas area. His love of carpentry continued to make him friends with his many customers and the workers at most of Winnipegs North End lumber yards and hardware stores. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Hilde on May 4, 1991; his grandson Bruce Engel on May 19, 1982; a son-in-law, Gordon Engel on November 12, 2002; and granddaughter, Florence Streick on December 2, 1958. He leaves to mourn his passing his son, Don (Sandra) his five daughters, Ruth Mitchler, Florence (Harvey) Streick, Betty (George) Engel, Joyce Engel and Marge (Ed) Wiese. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and good friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St. with a reception to follow. A family interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Rest in Peace dear Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. You are with your angel Hilde now. We love you and will never forget you.
