Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ANN ALICE FORTIN (nee KOBAR) March 22, 1941 - April 29, 2003 Peacefully, on Tuesday, April 29, 2003, Patricia passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 62 years. Patricia was born in Brighton, Sussex, England and was predeceased by her Father John Wilson, Mother Charity (Rose) Kobar, and Step-father Jack Kobar. She is survived and will lovingly be remembered by her sisters, Jackie Dromberg (Hank), May Glover (Bob), Mary Gibson (John) and brothers, Jim Kobar (Lisa), and Dave Kobar (Helen). She is also survived by her ex-husband Ray Fortin; children, Shelly Fortin and Tim Smith (Crystal Fortin and Charity Smith), John Fortin (John Jr. and Linda), Wendy and Ian Dodd (Amy Fortin, Megan and Evan Dodd), Frank and Leona Fortin (Nadine and Leo), Lee Ann and Rick Monias, and George Fortin (Georgiana, Scott and Zack), and many nieces and nephews, childhood friend Sharon Sawatzky and many more friends. The family wishes to extend gratitude and thanks to all those who offered help and support in any way. Patricias funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m. in Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Ave., with Pastor Erhard Buss officiating. For those who wish, viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd., at the perimeter.
