EDMUND MICHAEL STANGL August 28, 1931 - April 29, 2003 Peacefully with family by his side, Sonny passed away at Carman Memorial Hospital. Sonny leaves to cherish in his memory, his beloved wife Marion; his son Ed (Angela), Andrew, Lindsay, Tomi and Jordan; his daughter Kathy (Howard), Jeremy, Chad and Tim, and his daughter Natalie (Jan). He is also survived by his mother Frances; mother-in-law Katherine; eight sisters, Lou (Andrew), Sue (late Bob), Beulah (Clifford), Shirley (Bob), Pat (late Steve), Therese (Ed), Geraldine (Rich), Barbara (Rene) one brother Greg (Marilyn) in-laws, Lawrence (Pat), Joyce (Don), Lorraine (Pete) and the late Ivan and many other relatives and friends. Sonny is joining his daughter Ann Louise and his father Edmund and father-in-law, John in heaven, and other predeceased relatives and friends. Prayer service will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fannystelle Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Father Edward S. Kosa O.M.I. officiating and Father Armand Le Gal, and sister Lucille Bonin assisting. Interment to follow in the Elm Creek Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sonnys memory may be made to the Elm Creek Volunteer Fire Fighters, Elm Creek, MB R0G 0N0.
