ARNOLD GEORGE ANDREWS Arnie, after a fall in his home, passed away, Saturday, April 12, 2003. He was born in Miami, MB, August 12, 1927. In 1949 he married Ruth Callum of Miami and they farmed there for several years. Their first son Lorne was born February 17, 1953, their second son Brad was born October 28, 1954 and their daughter Shelley was born February 21, 1958 at the Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton. The family moved back to Miami in 1960 from pipelining in Drayton Valley; and Arnie and his brother Lyle bought the Hardware Plumbing and Heating in Miami. In 1964 Arnie and his family bought the Charlie Morton Farm in Two Creeks District near Virden where they are today. Arnie is survived by his wife Ruth; daughter Shelley; son Lorne (Debbie Careme) grandchildren, Carla (Ryan), Gabrielle, Lacie Andrews and daughter-in-law Connie Johnston, all of Virden. He was predeceased by his son Brad, January 1, 1976. A private family service was held Wednesday, April 16 at the Two Creeks Cemetery, Rev. Trevor Rutley officiated. Lunch followed in the Miniota Hall.
