Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRYAN J. COOPMAN July 2, 1936 - May 2, 2003 Bryan passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre. He was predeceased by his son Kenneth, his parents, Mabel and John; and his wife Elsie. He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his children, Doug (Ellen) of Vancouver, Dawn and Darryl of Winnipeg; his grandchildren, Audrey of Vancouver and Morgan of Winnipeg; sister Brenda of Thunder Bay; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. Bryan was born and raised in Thunder Bay. He joined the Air Force in 1956, receiving his wings in 1957. After leaving the Air Force in 1961 he returned to Thunder Bay to work as a pilot for Trans Canada Pipelines. Bryan was transferred to Winnipeg in 1976 and retired in 1996. He served as Lieutenant for the 177 Air Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and was member of the Legion and enjoyed curling, golf and gardening. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Thursday, May 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements in care of: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
