ROBERT FRANKLIN WARDELL Robert Franklin Wardell, born in Winnipeg, MB March 3, 1923. It is with great sadness that we announce Franks passing on April 21, 2003 in Burnaby, BC. He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 57 years, Fran; children, Dave (Colleen), Andrew (Vivian), Diane (Dave) sister Georgina; his dearly loved grandchildren, Kristine (Paul), Heather (Coy), Samantha, Annika and Liam; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jaime and Cole. Frank served with honour in the Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945. He spent 28 months at sea as an HSD on the destroyer St Laurent (H83) and the corvette Kenogami (K125). Many thanks to the nurses at RCH and St. Michaels Hospice for their kindness and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. G. Parhar. After a lengthy illness Dad is at rest. Memorial service April 26, 10:00 a.m. at Boal Chapel, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michaels Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
