ROBERT (BOB) JAMES EDWARDS JR. 1955 - 2003 On May 6, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital, with his family by his side, Bob peacefully passed away at the age of 47. He was predeceased by Bob Sr. in 2002. Bob loved the water and collected anything nautical. His home on the lake where he spent the last four years was a long time dream. He loved to build and create and had an exceptional imagination, which was evident in his back yard. Bob enjoyed hosting parties and preparing all the food. He really loved to imprint memories on peoples minds. Bob ran several small businesses and started BI Baxter in 1988. He employed many Transcona residents in order to return something to the area in which he lived. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Frances; his wife Anita and her children, Gordon and Krista; his daughters, Jackie (David) and Robyn; granddaughters, Brianna and Jerni; his first wife Susan; and his sister Sharon (Rick) and nephews Brock and Braden; as well as many good friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Georges Anglican Church, Wakefield, with the Rev. Canon Godfrey Mawejje officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the 8A Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

RJ, Twenty years ago a large part of me died alongside of you. Life has never been the same since you've gone. You made a large impression on everyone you met, but never as much as you did with me. You had a short life, but it was a full life! You had a very good run. I still miss you as much now, as I did then. You would have made a great old guy, like your dad! - Posted by: Randolph Barefoot (Best Friend for Thirty-Six Years) on: May 11, 2023
