Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND W. HEPPELLE 1942 - 2003 On Thursday, May 1, 2003, Ray passed away suddenly in Regina, SK, at the age of 60 years. Beloved son of Margaret and the late Wilbrod (Brod) Heppelle of Kenora, ON. Ray will be remembered and sadly missed by his son David of Brandon, MB, brothers, Paul of Regina, Denys of Kenora, Robert and wife Miriam of Phelpston, ON and Brian and wife Melanie of Yellowknife, NT; his sisters, Judy Heppelle and Sandra Cooke and husband Al of Winnipeg. He will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues, neighbours and his good friends Ray and Cindy. Ray was predeceased by his wife Judith Ann Hyduk, his maternal grandparents, Richard and Gerda Norlen and his paternal grandparents, Elzear and Elizabeth Heppelle. In 1980, after many years in the retail grocery business, Ray started working for the Department of Justice at the Brandon Correctional Institution, where he found his true calling. His job description was simple: do his very best for those whom society had abandoned. He retired in 2002. Since then, he spent most of his time helping those he loved and fishing in Sunset Country. Funeral arrangements and cremation by Speers of Regina. A celebration of Rays life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 at Blessed John XXIII Parish, 3390 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
