JAMES LOGAN 1917-2003 On Sunday, May 4, 2003 Jim Logan passed away. He was predeceased by his wife Mary and daughter Ivy LeVie. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, Rodger LeVie, Jim (Marg) Logan, John (Marian) Logan, Flora (Dale) Clark, Sandra (Carl) Skwarek, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother George (Laura) Logan and sister-in-law, Laura Logan and brother Ian Logan, also numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was born in Sheho, SK on November 27, 1917. On September 23, 1937 he married Mary Babichuk. They moved from Saskatchewan to the Interlake area to work and raise their family. Jim loved family, sports, good food, visiting with friends at mealtimes and driving around in his pickup truck. He enjoyed trying to arrange marriages for family (especially for the grandsons) and for certain friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Rev. Ken Anstie and Rev. Brian Gold will officiate with interment to follow in the Windsor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Flowers are gratefully declined, as tokens of sympathy donations in memory of Jim may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or a charity of your choice. The family extends their most sincere "thanks" and appreciation to the staff and Dr. Demsas at Betel Home Foundation, Selkirk, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements. 467-2525
