Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL MacDONALD November 20, 1918 - May 2, 2003 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of their beloved father and grandfather Dan MacDonald at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 84. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Doreen (Garry), son Jim (Josie) granddaughters, Stacey and Laura Derhak and Elise MacDonald all of Calgary, AB; and Mrs. Pat Page, his close friend and companion. Dan will also be remembered by his brothers, Allan (Dorothy) and John (Rosalie). He was predeceased by wife Jean on September 11, 2000. Dan was born in Cape Breton, NS and came to Winnipeg in 1946 where he met Jean and were married for 54 years. He was a resident of Middlechurch for 50 years and was an avid curler and golfer. Dan served in the armed forces during the Second World War and was a longtime member and past president of the West St. Paul Curling Club and Legion. Up until retirement in 1978, he was employed by Moores Business Forms for 30 years. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
