Michael was born May 22, 1921, in Winnipeg. As a youngster his family moved out to Broad Valley. At the age of 21 he enlisted in the army at Shilo where he would share many stories of days he spent there. Later he worked at numerous jobs in Toronto and Winnipeg. Michael married Mary Ambrozik July 9, 1955. He took great pride at the friends he made while being employed at Versatille from 1974 to 1986. They resided at Broad Valley, where he farmed until his retirement. Mike thoroughly enjoyed going for car rides, picking wildberries, listening to Mickey and Bunny and Wilf Carter, dancing polkas and buying treats and Easter bunnies for his precious grandchildren. He also received great pleasure in helping with farm chores, working with the cattle alongside his cherished son Chris. We will always remember and appreciate the things you have done for us. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched... They must be felt with the heart. Always loving you.
