MICHAEL A. NIMCHUK Passed away on May 2, 2003 in his 80th year in Burlington, ON. Beloved father of Ivanna Joan and Michael Alan. Predeceased by his parents, Roman and Maria (Klos) Nimchuk and brother Dennis. Dearest brother of Henry (Ann) Nimchuk, Lily Coulter, Olga (Wilfred) Last and Frances (William) Dutka, all of Winnipeg. Brother-in-law of Pauline Nimchuk and Helen E. Kulick and the late Nestor Kostyniuk and Laury Coulter. Former husband of Oriel Kostyniuk Neilson. Remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Michael was a veteran of the Second World War - Canadian Legion Branch #360. He was a founding member of the Ukrainian (Windsor) Credit Union and Hamilton "Vodohrai" CYC Orchestra. He was a longtime active member of St. Vladimirs Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, Order of St. Andrew, Ukrainian Self-Reliance Association, Ukrainian-Canadian Professional and Business Association, and Southern Ambassadors (Windsor). He was a pharmaceutical representative. Funeral service and interment on Wednesday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. from the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. in Winnipeg. Fr. Jaroslaw Buciora officiating. Burial at the Transcona cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Vladimir Institute, 620 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5S 2H4.
