EDWARD H. WATSON It is with the deepest regret that we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Watson, after a courageous battle with cancer at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, May 2, 2003 at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary; his daughter Sharon Kennedy; his sons, Darrell and Phil (Roxanne) and by his grandchildren, Heather, Corrine and Collin. The family wishes to thank the staff of the ICU and of 5B at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. Prayer service will be led by Fr. Ron Leger at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. in St. Boniface on Wednesday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Lucien Roy at the Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St. in St. Boniface the following morning, Thursday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edwards memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
