Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN MARGARET MacDONELL (nee COCHRANE) Peacefully on May 5, 2003 at Victoria Hospital, Kathleen Margaret MacDonell passed away with family at her side. Kay is survived by sister Patricia Homeniuk; children, Cathy (Terry) Tully, Moira (Rob) English, Blair (Jeff Leese) MacDonell, Donald (Cynthia Zelenwich) MacDonell; and grandchildren, Jennifer English and Laurie, Kristen, Nicole and Scott MacDonell. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas and sister Mary Eileen (Molly). Kay will be lovingly remembered for her hard work, generosity and dedication to family and others. She enthusiastically shared a variety of activities with good friends such as walks, dining, theatre and watching sporting events. Kay had an adventurous spirit; especially appreciating family trips and time spent at Gull Lake, Booster Lake, Lakeshore Heights and the Tully farm. Her love of nature was expressed through gardening and during walks with her grandchildren. Kay was an active member of Westworth United Church for many years. Early in life she was employed by the TD Bank and later until retirement worked in the library at Gordon Bell High School. The family would like to extend special thanks to friends, neighbours, Rev. Clark Saunders and staff at Victoria General Hospital for their support. Memorial service to be held on Friday, May 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8, or to a charity of your choice.
