IRENE CLARA GLAYS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend on May 6, 2003. Predeceased in death by her husband Garnet; and sons, Teddy and Gary. Survived by, daughter Gail (Cliff) Leach; sons, Doug (Barb), Donald (Kathy), Brian (Janis), Mark (Cynthia), Bruce (Shirley), Randy (Janice), Ross (Val), Dennis (Dawn), and daughter-in-law Gilberte; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children. Irene was born in St. Boniface Hospital, May 21, 1923 and grew up in the Norwood flats area, where her family ran the Spanish Courts Store. She loved bowling, bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was appreciative of the time spent with her Deer Lodge Support Group. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 8, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels with a reception to follow.
