SHARON LYNN MARIE JAMES It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of my wife, our mother, sister, grandmother Sharon Lynn Marie Mary Magdelen Clarke James of Cranberry Portage, MB. She passed away at the age of 51 with family at her side, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Aveolar Proteinosis (PAP). This disease then turned into Pulmonary Fibrosis (scarring of the lung tissue), possibly brought on by full lung lavages or infection to the lungs after the lavages. "Due to the unorganized health care system within Manitoba, Sharon "slipped through the cracks", and I Robert Lewis Charles James, have a mind like an elephant (and petty to boot) and will never forget." Sharon was born in Prince George, BC on May 17, 1951 and grew up in a large family. Being the eldest of seven "army brats", Sharon had the opportunity to travel and live in quite a few places, including a couple of years in Germany. The last move she made with her family took her to Thompson, MB where she met the love of her lives, Robert Lewis Charles James. They were married October 10, 1970 in the midst of a blizzard. Her love and feisty spirit will be fondly remembered by her husband and boyfriend of almost forty years, Robert James; daughter Janine (husband Jim) Munro; son Robert (wife Kori) James; grandchildren, Robynn, Bailee, Cody - James and Samantha; six siblings, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sharons funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17 (Sharons Birthday) at 11:00 a.m. in Cranberry Portage, MB. We would like to say special thanks to Paulette and staff for their ongoing help. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharons memory to The Cranberry Portage Ambulance, General Delivery, Cranberry Portage, MB R0B 0H0.
