GLADYS MYRTLE ALF (nee MOURITSEN) After a brief illness, Gladys Myrtle Alf, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 91 years. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Bert in 1977. She was also predeceased by her brothers George and Harry and sisters Agnes, Emma, Ann, and Alice. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Teena (Terry) Garraway with Blair and Ian, and Janice (Rod) James of Richmond BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Gladys worked at the Deer Lodge Hospital for many years. She enjoyed volunteering and helped out at many churches in the Weston area. Gladys was a very active and sociable person who loved to travel. The family wishes to thank the staff at Oakview Place for their kind and compassionate care of Gladys. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gladys memory may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7.
