MARIE CATHERINE COURCHENE (nee BOUBARD) September 1, 1927 - May 7, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Catherine, on May 7, 2003, at the Pine Falls hospital. Mom was predeceased by our dad Edward. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her sons, Norman (Linda), Paul, Neil (Darlene), Mike (Bernice), Nelson (Doreen), and Sam; her daughters, Norma Swan (Henry), Mary Courchene (Wilfred) and Lila Morrisseau (Terry). She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret and Virginia; her brother Joe; her stepchildren; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Wake service will be held at the home of Mary and Wilfred Courchene, House 529, North shore. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12 starting at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Alexander Parish, Sagkeeng, with Fr. Laval Cloutier and Fr. Jean Jacques Serceau officiating.
