EDWARD (EDDIE) RICHARD FISHER After a courageous battle with cancer, Eddie passed away peacefully on May 7, 2003 at the Seven Regions Health Centre, Gladstone, MB, with his family by his side. He was born on December 20, 1936 in Grandview, MB. Eddie will be deeply missed by Heather, his loving wife of 40 years; his children, Dean and Corrie (Katryn, Alex, and Trevor) of Strathclair, MB, Alison and Terry (Tyler, Jenalee, and Dillen) of Lethbridge, AB, Shailagh and Clint (Wyatt, Marshall, and Weston) of Gladstone, MB, and Troy and Jenn (Taylor) of Winnipeg, MB; his brother David of Grandview, MB and sister Ardith and Bill of Edmonton, AB; mother-in-law Margaret Taylor of Winnipeg, MB; sister-in-law Iris and Jerry of Winnipeg; and brother-in-law Vern and Shirley of Winnipeg; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Richard in 1980; his mother Grace in 1988; and father-in-law John in 1998. Eddie worked for the CNR from 1955 until his retirement in 1991. For the past 14 years he happily farmed with Laurie McCaskill at Gladstone, MB. A special thanks to Dr. DuPlooy, Brenda, Karen, and Kim of the Assiniboine Clinic in Brandon, MB, and a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at Seven Regions Health Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined.
