ABRAM (ABE) KRUEGER June 28, 1924 - May 8, 2003 Peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in Steinbach, MB. He is survived by his loving wife Anne of 56 years. He is also survived by his children, Judy (Cliff) Walker, Shirley, Jim (Kellie), Margaret (Norman) Lamb, Ruth, John (Priscilla), Tim (Corinne), Rick (Natalie) and 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Abe was born and raised in the village of Neubergthal. During his later working years he was employed at Air Canada until his retirement in 1986. He always had time for family activities and was actively involved in Canadian Sunday School Mission as a board member for 30 years, as well as interests in many other missions. In his retirement years he enjoyed his woodworking hobbies. The family wishes to thank Dr. Krahn and the excellent home care personnel for their compassion. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, on Monday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2:00 p.m., at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave., Steinbach. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.
