Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT (ALBIN) MARCHEL It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Albert Marchel of Selkirk, MB on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. Albert was a survivor of the Second World War, serving in many countries. Upon coming to Canada, he was employed for 14 years at the Selkirk Mental Hospital. In 1975 he retired from the Hospital as Manager in the Laundry Department. In 1990, he moved into the Lions Centre where he resided until his passing. Albert will be lovingly missed by his friends Blodwin and David Georget who he looked upon as family in recent years. He is survived by a nephew in Poland and a god-daughter, Lily Mikijaniec, in Winnipeg. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Gilbarts Funeral Home, Selkirk. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery Highway No.9 . If friends so desire, donations in Alberts memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association, 102-320 Broadway, Winnipeg R3C 0S6. Rest in Peace Dear Friend.
