PAMELA JOYCE SMITH July 18, 1954 - May 9, 2003 Suddenly but peacefully, with loved ones beside her, we lost our sister Pamela (kitten). Pamela was predeceased by her parents, Mark Smith and Elsie Spence; stepfather Oliver Spence; and sister Mary Sabel. She leaves behind cats, Missy and Baby; sisters, Cheryl Waytiuk (Karl), Lucy Kitchen (Howard), Susan Slobodian (Wayne), Sandi Husband (Sheldon), Gloria Bernas (Steve) and Elanore Hall - Pam, your memory will always be honoured at our Sister Christmas dinners - Patricia Wozney (Walter) and Leona Kennedy; brothers, Albert McCumber (Bonnie) and Harold McCumber; and brother-in-law Marty Sabel. Aunty Pam had numerous nieces and nephews, of which she made her own. Matthew "MD" was her special nephew as she was so proudly his Godmother. Pamela lived a full life with her work, which led her to travel - but her strong love for family and close friends always led her home. Our dear sister, aunt and friend may you rest peacefully and await our "reunion". A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

  • Hello Dear Pamela, your birthday came last week, July 18th, 2024. I was out for breakfast with Sue. I know you were there with us that day. Your presence was confirmed when the waitress asked if it was my birthday. I said no and she said it was hers. She also said many people have the same birthday as hers. It was your birthday. She made sure we remembered it. We will never forget. miss you so much Pam xoxo - Posted by: Gloria Bernas (sister) on: Jul 20, 2024

  • Pam I keep thinking about our special times we shared together, I remember when I was 9 years old and you would come pick me up from home and say we are going to have lunch together, I remember going to the store to get the ingredients to make spaghetti & meatballs, I had so much fun preparing that with you and having our sister bonding time. As years went by and we got older this spending sister time continued, I remember the fun times we had bike riding to Assinaboine park and later sitting on the grass having an ice cream cone before we would start our biking back home. I also remember and enjoyed the times I got to invite you over to my place when I got older to come have lunch or dinner with me and my children and Karl. ** I miss you so much Pam and I always will, When it came time for you to leave us I was devastated and found my life spiraling out of control but one day Sue, Sandi, Lue , Glor came to my door took me by my hand and said we are here for you..I believe in my heart you heard them say they were worried about me and you helped by sending them to bring me out of my sad dark place I was hiding in from grief. We love and miss you so much Pam. Please give Mom & Dad a hug for us and tell them we think of you all always. XoXoXo - Posted by: Cheryl (Sister) on: Jun 11, 2015
