IRIS PERRON (nee HUNTER) Peacefully, on Friday, May 9, 2003, Mom passed away with her family at her side at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Eugene in January, 1999. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, Charlotte (Marcel) Roy, James (Vi), Robert, Sylvia Friesen, Diane, Patricia Prairie, David (Joanne) and Raymond (Jennifer), and by her 12 grandchildren. Mom was born on June 18, 1914 in Winnipeg, MB. She married Eugene on February 4, 1942 and they moved near the town of Ste. Anne where they enjoyed a life of farming and raising a family. In her spare time, Mom enjoyed reading, needlework, and gardening. She touched the hearts of many people through her kindness, patience and gentleness. She will be sadly missed but always in our thoughts. The family extends special thanks to Dr. deMoissac, Sisters Rioux and Forest, and to the staff at the Villa Youville for the exceptional care Mom received. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Rene E. Chartier at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB on Wednesday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make a donation in Iris memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Wpg. MB R3L 0K6.
