TAY BIT TAH GOS - TURTLE CLAN LESLIE JOSEPH ATKINSON Born November 24, 1953 in Altona, Leslie passed away at the age of 49 years on Sunday, May 11, 2003 at the Morris General Hospital, surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. The traditional wake will be held at the Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation Community Hall beginning on Monday, May 12, with Traditional Funeral services on Wednesday, May 14 at noon (12:00 p.m.) Interment will be at Roseau Rapids Reserve. Leslie is survived by his wife Judy; son Elias; daughters, Christie (Randy), Nicole (Regan), Vanessa and Regina (Freddy) brothers, Herbie, Elwood, Peter, Norman, and Albert and sisters, Theresa, Lucy, Molly, Hilda, Joanne and Barbara. He was predeceased by his mom Eva Atkinson and dad Albert Martin; brothers, Gordon and Russell, and sisters, Evelyn and Eva Jane.
