MARY (MAE) CURTIS Mae Curtis, beloved wife of Dudley, peacefully died in her sleep at the age of 80 years on Sunday, May 11, 2003. Mae is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dudley Curtis; her children, David (Margaret) and Linda (Barry) three grandchildren, David, John (Cuileann) and Dan (Audrea) two great-grandchildren; and sister Alice Parks. Mae was predeceased by her parents and brother, David Kells. Mae was a kind and gentle soul whose devotion to her husband, children, family and friends was well known and cherished by all. She will be sorely missed. Mae was a long time resident of Greene Avenue in East Kildonan and more recently, she and Dudley spent several pleasant years in a condominium in North Kildonan. Mae was an enthusiastic snow bird and enjoyed many winters in McAllen, Texas with friends when Dudley retired. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Interment in St. Vital Cemetery at a later date.
